Michelle A. Lee (she/her) is an interdisciplinary artist and curator from San Francisco, California. A 3rd generation San Franciscan, Lee is a graduate of the Modern Art History, Theory, and Criticism program at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and has worked in arts organizations in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. Since joining in 2013, her AAWAA curatorial projects have included Agrarianaa: Art Inspired by APA Agricultural Roots (Co-Curated with Diana Li and Erina C Alejo - 2019), Shifting Movements: Art Inspired by the Life & Activism of Yuri Kochiyama (1921-2014) (2017), Hungry Ghosts (2015), and Eating Cultures (2014).
