Every other year, AAWAA puts on large-scale multidisciplinary arts exhibitions at local galleries to provide opportunities to showcase the contemporary works of Asian Pacific American women in the arts and the diversity within the APA community. Each show features novel themes that challenge what it means to be Asian American, a woman, and an artist, enabling dialogue about the socio-political concerns of present day.
